After planting a tree they can contribute to the care of nature. As the tree reach the maturity age we take an small part of wood from it and let the local artisan write ‘Thanks to take care of nature’ and we sent this small gift to our guest per post.

How the trees get water?

We receive water from canal once or twice a month for 4 hours. The water is collected in a reservoir which is 31m broad, 31m long and 7m deep. It collects 6.72 million liters (1.77 million gallon) water to irrigate the land of ca. 35000 sq m (around 9 acre). The collected water is then pumped up by using electricity and supplied to the trees through pipes and sprinklers.

Which trees we plant?

We grow the tree species which can survive in desert climate.
Some of them are as follows;
Khejri (Prosopis cineraria), Rohira (Tecomella undulata)
Neem (Azadirachta indica), Gugal (Commiphora wightii ), Bodhi Tree (Ficus religiosa), Sisham (Dalbergia sissoo), Lasura – Indian cherry (Cordia myxa),
Kair (Capparis decidua), Akado (Caliotropis procera)

Agriculture

Apart from that agriculture is of the local crops like wheat, pearl millet, chic beans, cluster beans is done over the land to support the locals who take care of the trees.
